In early 1982 Phil Batty, the owner of Eurotruck Ltd , opened his second branch on Chesterfield Road Pleasley (pictured above), having built his Nottingham based branch for a couple of years. On opening the Mansfield branch he asked Mick Noton to come on board as Branch Manager having worked in the trade at Atec Yorks for several years. A few weeks later they employed Tim Fleming on a youth opportunity scheme to learn the trade. Both Mick and Tim over the years and with the help of other workers built the Mansfield branch up to a successful stand alone depot and in 2003 when Phil said he was looking to slow down Mick and Tim decided to buy the Mansfield branch and set up Eurotrucks ( Mansfield) Ltd and 3 years later moved from the Pleasley shop to the newly built unit at the current address on Millennium Business Park. With the help of the long serving loyal workers Rob and Chris, Mick and Tim continue to use their years of experience to provide the hauliers a local service at its best locating and delivering commercial vehicle parts at the right price.
Eurotrucks have also given back to the local community that we are a pillar of, having sponsored multiple amateur football teams over the years we are currently the proud sponsors of amateur football team Bridge Inn FC. We have also been involved in multiple charity work including completing the 3 peaks challenge in order to raise money for the Alzheimer's society. Eurotrucks was apart of Ernie Moss, Once Upon a Smile in aid of Dementia donating in order to raise funds for the charity. Currently some of Eurotrucks employees are again looking to conquer the 3 peaks challenge to raise money for multiple charities and are working to raise money and take on the challenge in May 2021.
